I translate written texts from German into English, my mother tongue.

I specialise in translating documents from the business, marketing, finance and legal fields.

When translating Microsoft Office documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), the formatting and layout of your translation will be identical to the original file. This means your translations are sent to you “ready to use” and do not require any further formatting.

For me the readability of the final English text is always my focus. In my view, a successful translation is when readers are unaware that what they are reading is not the original text.

The turnaround time for a translation depends on several factors, including the complexity and length of your German text. As I work as an independent translator, flexibility is my focus and I often work to tight deadlines to suit clients’ schedules.
